Glam and Glow Chemical Peels
At Glam and Glow we offer a variety of chemical peels to treat a wide range of skin conditions and concerns.
A chemical peel treatment is a procedure where a specific ingredient/acid or blend of ingredients/acids are applied to the skin to cause controlled changes to different layers of the skin. Peels of different strengths and combinations can be utilised within a treatment plan to increase the skin’s natural skin cell turnover rate while addressing your specific skin concerns, resulting in smoother, brighter, more even-looking skin.
It is a common misconception that professional peels must be aggressive and have significant downtime, however with our superficial peels or enzymatic treatments this is not the case. You may feel a slight tingling sensation as the product is applied, however more often than not you will be able return to work and social activities straight away feeling rejuvenated and refreshed!
Peels may be performed as a stand-alone treatment or combined with other treatments to enhance your results. Most of our peel treatments are performed in combination with LED Light Therapy and a hydrating, soothing mask post treatment.

It is very important you follow the advice given during your consultation when it comes to priming your skin. It not only helps to ensure that your skin barrier is strong enough to receive.

We will provide relevant home care advice and products to use in the days following your treatment. It is very important to follow the post care advice provided to you as this helps to reduce risk of Post-inflammatory Hyperpigmentation, soothe the skin, help to restore that skin barrier, provide optimal skin hydration, accelerates skin recovery time and helps to maintain the peel results.
After any skin treatment, you need to limit your exposure to the sun; this includes being outdoors on overcast days, as it is still possible to receive sun burn without visible sun. If it is safe to use following the treatment you must use a SPF that is recommended to you by your treating clinician to avoid any adverse reactions.
